Testing
If you have
a timed dome light which is hooked up to an instant trigger
or sensor input, make sure the dome light has been timed out
and turned off before testing the system. Crime Stopper
alarms must be programmed to delay until the light is out.
When testing the doors, make sure to test all of the doors.
Many manufactures use a key-sense wire on the driver’s dome
light switch (your car will chime when you’ve left the key
in the ignition). If the door alarm wire is tied into this
key sensing wiring system your alarm will sound when the
driver’s door is opened. Remember to test each door to make
sure that the alarm sounds on all of the doors.
