Starting the Installation of your car security system

 

 

 

Starter Disable

 

Most security systems have a feature called starter disabled this feature simply blocks the electrical current to the starter from the vehicles key switch, when the vehicle is in the armed state the vehicle cannot be started unless the security system is unarmed. .

The starter solenoid main power feed draws a huge amount of current, so the solenoid feed wire going to the starter cannot be spliced into.
