 Sealed Enclosure or Air - Suspension - An enclosure that does not allow the back wave of the speaker to interfere with front wave, its completely sealed or isolated.

Signal –A sequence of electrical radio waves received.   

Sound – Vibrations of air detectable by the ear.

Sound Pressure Level (SPL) – Pressure caused by sound waves, measured in decibels.  

Speaker - A transducer which transforms electrical energy into sound.

Stereophonic - Two or more audio channels in a car audio system producing clarity of sound.

Sub-woofer - A loudspeaker that produces low audio frequencies, 30 Hz to 120 Hz.

Super tweeter - A high frequency driver reproducing high frequencies, usually over 10 kHz.

Switch – A device used to turn on or off an electrical component.
