Polarity
- The electrical quality of two opposite
poles, negative and positive, in which
current tends to flow.

Cable - A power cable that supplies
power from the vehicles electrical system to
a car audio device within the vehicle.

Handling Capability - The amount of
power that can accommodate signal strength
without damaging the speaker system.
Pre-amp
Fader -A device that controls the
low-level input signal from an audio device
for two separate amplifiers, one amplifier
for the front and one amplifier for the
rear.
Pre-amplifier A circuit which
generates a small audio signal to be
amplified by an amplifier.
