• Parametric Equalizer - An equalizer that allows changing the frequencies at which improvement can take place.

• Passive Crossover - A crossover that doesn’t use electrical power to filtrate rhythm to the speakers.

• Path Length - The distance sound travels from the speakers to human ears. 

• Phase - The position of two sound waves with regard to each other.

• Plate Speaker - Two drivers mounted side by side on a flat surface within the speaker.

• Polarity - The electrical quality of two opposite poles, negative and positive, in which current tends to flow.

• Power Cable - A power cable that supplies power from the vehicles electrical system to a car audio device within the vehicle.

• Power Handling Capability - The amount of power that can accommodate signal strength without damaging the speaker system.

• Pre-amp Fader -A device that controls the low-level input signal from an audio device for two separate amplifiers, one amplifier for the front and one amplifier for the rear.

• Pre-amplifier  A circuit which generates a small audio signal to be amplified by an amplifier.
